The greater sense of well-being that your team members experince, the more productive and successful they will be. This isn't just conjecture, it's a well-researched fact.

If even just one member of a team doesn't love his or her job, productivity will suffer dramatically.

'But wait,' you might be saying, 'that's pie-in-the-sky thinking. Life isn't perfect. People have to do their best even when they don't love their jobs.'

True, but the Inner Management approach takes an entirely different tack. We teach your team members how to maximize their well being, and therefore become as productive as possible, even in the most difficult circumstances. Well being isn't just a state of mind, it's also a skill. This skill can actually be taught - in just two days.

Most key organizational decisions seem to be based upon the objective analysis of data, but such analyses are often distorted by underlying emotional considerations. Learning to eliminate these distortions is instrumental in achieving lasting success.

The two-day Inner Management workshop is designed for just this purpose. It's suitable for groups of five to twenty people. While customizable to your specific needs, each workshop is built upon the same foundational skill set. These skills include learning how to recognize and work with:

          • Contraction
          • Expansion
          • Resistance
          • Acceptance
          • Triggers

These basic principles are then applied to issues regarding:

          • Workload overwhelm
          • Stress reduction
          • Personality conflicts
          • Communication breakdowns
          • Contradictory goals
          • Power struggles
          • Internal expectations
          • External expectations
          • Untapped potential
          • Outmoded paradigms
          • Strategic crossroads

Each of the two days is comprised of lecture, demonstration, role playing, small group exercises, and Q&A.

The first day focuses specifically on creating an environment of trust and safety. A key part of this is determining and respecting the team's prevailing behavioral style.

The second day focuses on the most important barriers to workplace satisfaction, as well as the personal and institutional challenges in meeting performance benchmarks.

Depending on the needs of your organization, follow-up consulting is available for both whole teams and individuals. Follow-up sessions and exercises can be conducted in person, by phone, and via intranet or web meetings. They can occur weekly, monthly, as infrequently scheduled check-ins or one-time only reviews.
